About this game:
Katana Zero is primarily a 2D game. It was developed by Askiisoft and published by Devolved Digital for Nintendo, macOS, and Windows. DLC is currently planned for release in 2021. The story takes place in Neo Mecca, a dystopian, neo-noir city. The city has been invaded by an unidentified and ruthless Asian nation. The resulting war is known as the “Kromage War,” and it is implied that Neo Mecca has lost.
With this background in mind, you will play as the protagonist, known as “Katana Zero.” He carries out various assassination attempts assigned to him by his psychiatrist. His psychiatrist also provides Zero with a drug called “Kronos” Source4game. This drug allows him to breathe and see into the future. You’ll notice that Zero suffers from nightmares throughout the game. This particular nightmare involves a child living in a small, primitive hut. A man wearing a lab coat bursts in and tells the child to take cover before being shot by a ghost. Of course, this child is likely Zero.
Katana Zero Gameplay:
Katana Zero. The gameplay here is incredibly smooth, with no lag or glitches. Being a 2D game, it’s advisable to lower the graphics settings. However, the graphics are stunning, reminiscent of the Blade Runner film. The neo-noir dystopian atmosphere adds a sense of realism, making this world an undeniably enjoyable experience.
From MediaFire (Free): The game begins midway through one of Zero’s missions. Zero is sent to rescue a kidnapped scientist. The scientist is found, but killed by a monster known as V. Zero fails in this mission and goes to see his psychiatrist. There, he receives a Kronos injection, along with a file on his next target, Josh Rose.
Zero tries to reach Rose, but the man commits suicide. Throughout the game, Zero is tasked with eliminating more targets. The game’s plot unfolds as he suffers from Kronos withdrawal symptoms and attempts to solve various other puzzles.
Game Features:
Katana Zero: Zero Health Bar. Be aware that there will be no health bar here. This means you will die if you take a hit. This is a combat game with instant grappling. Traps. You can set traps to kill your enemies. All these traps are environmental and require intelligence and cunning. You must discover which trap is most suitable for each enemy.
Bullet Blocking (PC): You can block bullets using a sword strike. Practice this skill thoroughly in the game as it will save your life. Remember, there is no health bar; one hit is enough to kill you. Timer. You can slow down time using the timer. However, this timer will not always be full, as that would make the game too easy. Instead, the timer will gradually fill over time. So, use it carefully. Note that if you use this feature in one scene, you won’t need to slow down time in subsequent important missions. Rolling: You can dodge attacks using the Rolling option. Here, you have to press a button to roll downwards. So, it’s another option to save your life. After all, your sword won’t always save you.
